I am trying to install to an external USB hard drive. I followed the
instructions in the article at
http://linux.voyage.hk/content/getting-started-live-cd-v09x
and managed to get the system to boot. So far so good. A few questions,
though:
1. When booting from the Live CD, Linux recognizes both ethernet
interfaces, but after installation, it only sees one. What do I need to
do to have both recognized?
2. I need to transfer data from a CF card formatted for QNX4. Can I
update with an appropriate FS module so mount will accept -t qnx4, or do
I need to do something more drastic, like rebuild the kernel?
3. During boot-up, the console output looks fine until late in the
process, then it switches to huge block letters with only about 40
columns. Is there any way to improve that?
